Meet Kristi.

I met Kristi about 10 years ago, when I started working at Chili's. I honestly can't remember if she was a hostess and then started waiting tables, or what. But I remember that we clicked.

Kristi and I are like twins - except she's 10 times more beautiful, and 10 times as thin. We have a lot of the same quirks about us; we share a lot of common interests; and having not seen Kristi since 2005 had not mattered even one bit - we picked up right where we left off.

She wanted to do something that I had honestly never done. She wanted to walk around downtown Austin, in the middle of the day, taking "magazine-styled photos." I considered it like senior photos on steroids. And uh, I was dreading shooting in full sun.

But it worked!

And the images turned out beautifully. No doubt because Kristi is gorgeous, and natural, and so much fun.

Thanks again, my friend. It was so lovely to see you and spend time with you. Next time let's do it over some margaritas and delicious Mexican food. :)

Nicole contacted me after having seen a few of my photos on Facebook. She was so sweet and professional right from the start - it was definitely an impressive quality.

This was such a fun session, working with her and Christina (see below). I like to encourage my seniors to bring friends with them to the shoot because it helps to capture the best smiles - both candid, and posed. Take a look at the photos, and you'll see what I mean - we got some fun shots. :)

Christina | Grand Rapids senior photographers

I had the chance to meet up with Christina last weekend, on what could quite possibly have been the last warm, sunny day of Fall. It was beautiful. I'm so glad we were able to do her senior photos then, while all the colors were still so brilliant!

Of course, it always helps when your subject is gorgeous. And I love her school spirit - even posing for some photos in her cheer uniform. :)

Congrats to you, Christina! I hope this next year is one you will always remember, and I wish you the very best in your future endeavors!

Tessa | Grand Rapids photographers | 2012 senior representative

Alright, the secret's out.

My newest senior representative? Well...she's not a senior.

But I absolutely love her look too much to not keep her on the pay roll for at least 2 years. ;)

Tessa came to me, originally, as a student interested in photography. She wanted to follow me on a shoot one day as part of a school project. I happily obliged, but as the shoot went on, my camera turned to her.

It was like gravity. Seriously. The camera knew what was up.

So, we set up a shoot for the following day, and this is what we came up with.

I absolutely love her gallery. It's a perfect combination of urban, country...and random dogs. ;)

2012 Senior Rep | Goldie | Grand Rapids high school senior photographers
